It is generally acknowledged that one of the principal causes of hemroids is constipation. If we become constipated and don't have normal bowel movements, our waste matter remains in our systems longer than is desirable. This may result in our stool becoming harder and drier. When we do finally visit the toilet, this harder, more abrasive stool travels through the anal canal and out through the anus and can damage the hemroidal veins, causing us to get what we refer to as Hemroids or hemorrhoids. If we want to get a cure for hemroids and not simply address the symptoms, we need to find a method of curing constipation or at a minimum find a method of preventing constipation occuring. One of the best remedies for constipation is to make certain changes to what you eat. The most common cause of constipation is the shortage of roughage. Exercise does not mean attending an expensive gymnasium. Even a simple task such as taking your pet dog for a 30 minute quick walk daily is going to be an immense help. You can also run around your neighborhood or do some quick walking in a park. Use the stairs rather than the lift if you only need to climb a floor or two.
If all the dietary changes and exercise still do not help and you still end up getting constipated, then a stool softener might be needed. One important thing to note though is to stay clear of taking laxatives as they can cause diarrhea that will aggravate hemroids.
The above suggestions are effective remedies for constipation that will help prevent you from struggling with constipation and thereby provide an effective Hemroid treatment. However, if all the above suggestions do not work effectively, and you still suffer from constipation, are having to strain when going to the toilet, or you observe bright red marks on your feces or on your lavatory paper, then you must consult your physician immediately.
