how to get rid of a mole Though moles do not cause any harm, there are very small chances of a skin cancer known as melanoma caused by them. Removing such moles becomes mandatory. They also should be removed using one of the surgical techniques.

Moles that have been confirmed to be harmless can be removed with other available options. One of the options involves using the various products with the help of which moles can be removed. These are readily available at the local drug stores and need to be directly applied on the mole. The second option which a lot of people prefer is the use of home remedies to remove the moles. The natural remedies involve the use of numerous things that are easily available in the kitchen, to remove the moles.

One of the home remedies used to remove moles includes the use of an onion. The pulp of the onion needs to be obtained by crushing it. This pulp is then applied directly on the mole. Generally a cotton swab is used to apply it. This should be done for several weeks. The strong smell that the onion has is generally what keeps people away from using this option for mole removal. Apple juice also works effectively in removing moles. For those who do not use onion juice for the reason stated above can go for the apple juice.

The next remedy would involve using garlic. The garlic is cut into a slice and is placed over the mole. A bandage is then put over it to secure it on the mole. Garlic is said to burn the normal skin. Thus before placing the garlic over the mole, one needs to apply a petroleum jelly on the skin around the mole to prevent it from burning. Same is the case with apple cider vinegar. This is the reason why the same thing needs to be done prior to using it too. It is usually applied on the mole with the help of cotton.

The only disadvantage with the home remedies is that it is slow. The results are seen after a long time. Thus one needs to be patient when using them. Unlike other methods, the biggest benefit of this method is that it does not leave a scar, in most of the cases. Also they are very cost effective and are affordable to all.
