Having MS or sinusitis

Multiple sclerosis (MS), also known as disseminated sclerosis or encephalomyelitis disseminate is an inflammatory disease of the Central Nervous System, which is the brain and the spinal cord. It is the "white matter" tissue disease, where people affected can find plaques or lesions occurring in random areas of the CNS white matter. MS is clinically a hard condition, and no two people can ever have the same kind of multiple sclerosis, just like no two people can have the same fingerprints. All types of multiple sclerosis are approached differently and treated as unique.

MS is a serious disease but mostly not all infected experience all the symptoms that the disease entails, like numbness, pins and needles, tingling, muscle weakness, spasticity, blurred or double vision, slurred speech, loss of sexual function, nausea, depression, short term memory problems, loss of balance, cramps, blindness and many more symptoms. Some people with MS do not require the use of a wheelchair, though they may need it in a few years. The good thing about MS is that it is not contagious nor infectious, so there is no risk of catching it from someone that any individual is physically in touch with.

Another kind of disease is sinus infection or most commonly known as sinusitis. It is an inflammation of the sinuses and nasal passages which causes headache, pressure in the eyes, nose, cheek, or a side of the head. Sinusitis is commonly associated with cough, fever, bad breathe, and nasal congestion with thick nasal secretions. There are two categories for sinuses, namely acute (sudden onset) or chronic (long term, the most common type). Also the four major pairs of sinuses are frontal, maxillary, ethmoid and sphenoid sinuses. Regardless of type or category, sinusitis is a nuisance in a daily life. It limits the ability to do normal work and a constant irritation to all infected.

Unlike multiple sclerosis, sinusitis is highly contagious, it cam be passed from one person to another by direct physical contact, and can be transmitted through air. There is no cure for sinusitis, only medicines that can lessen the infection and relieve stress and irritation. For people not having a sinus infection, it is best to arm the body with complete vitamins, full balanced diet, good nutrition and healthy living to prevent acquiring sinusitis and live a life of constant despair.

Multiple sclerosis and sinus infections are two of the common diseases that people are having worldwide. Both diseases causes severe discomfort for those who are infected by the diseases, and what's important is to live life as much as people with sinusitis and MS can. Though comfort is not an easy factor to get by with, it is of great importance to have a positive attitude towards it and instead of living a life full of despair and frustration, life can be lived with a positive atmosphere and a lookout for the future.
