Fast And Simple Ways To Eliminate Hundreds Of Calories From Your Diet

We're willing to bet that you are sick to death of having to check out the calorie content for every single thing that you are thinking of eating or drinking. Believe us when we tell you that we understand. Counting your calories isn't exactly enjoyable. You will be glad to learn, though, that it doesn't have to be the big deal that it might have started to be for you. The truth is that cutting hundreds of calories from your diet doesn't have to involve intricate math or thinking. Keep reading to figure out how to do it.

Perhaps the simplest way to drop hundreds of calories from your diet is to only drink water. Water has zero calories and keeps you hydrated. Juices and sodas have tons of calories and often can leave you feeling even thirstier than you were before you took your first drink. Soda and coffee drinks, in particular, are notorious for helping you pack in the calories in just a few minutes. The flavoring in your coffee, for example, is terrible. Just one ounce can have dozens of calories. Why not skip the coffee altogether and drink water instead to help your calorie count drop an insane amount.

Instead of using butter to help season your veggies, use lemon juice, herbs and other spices. The taste will be phenomenal and you won't have to worry about the calories you would be getting if you used butter. More importantly, skipping the butter also helps you lower your risk of building high cholesterol and fat stores.

Tacos might be one of nature's most perfect foods but they can be loaded to the brim with calories. That does not mean, though, that you can't eat them anymore. Simply make them in healthier ways. Substitute corn tortillas for flour and watch the calorie count drop by hundreds of points. Choose super lean cuts of meat or opting to make vegetarian or vegan tacos are also ways to cut down on the calorie content of the tacos you make at home.

Do you still eat chicken skin? Don't do that! Sure it tastes good but it is packed to the brim with calories. You can keep the skin on the meat while it is cooking because doing so will help keep the flavor in the meat as well as make it easier to season and spice it but after you have finished cooking the meat you need to take the skin off. Your diet will thank you for it.

The truth is that just a few small changes in the way you prepare your food could help you drop many hundreds of calories from your diet every day. Just using light whole wheat bread instead of regular white bread can drop a hundred calories from your diet. You can cut hundreds of calories by choosing water instead of soda or coffee or juice. Perhaps the very best thing about these tips is that they don't require the sacrifice of taste to help you attain better health.
