Every individual generally has a mole present somewhere on their body. They are a result of pigmented cells getting grouped together. The methods used for the removal of moles at home are very easy to do. However they need to be performed with utmost care. There are a variety of risks associated with them. Some other issues may be faced if proper care is not taken while implementing these methods. One of the most common methods used to remove a mole at home is cutting it off. A scissor is usually used to carry out this procedure. Some people also use nail clippers for this purpose. If one does not use sterile instruments then the chances of being infected become very high. Thus you need to make sure that the instrument you use is a sterile one. Cleaning the equipment with alcohol before using it is one of the most simple ways to sterilize them.

Some amount of blood loss will occur when the mole is cut off. Cotton should be used to clean the blood. Additionally the wound should also be cleaned in the right way. Once the wound is cleaned, a suitable antibiotic ointment should also be applied on it to avoid the formation of any kind of infection.

Applying the juice of fruits and vegetables that are basically acidic in nature is one of the other commonly used methods. The acidic nature of such components certainly does help to remove the mole. They however also have a tendency to burn the skin around the mole. In order to avoid this from happening one should apply some petroleum jelly on the area around the mole before applying such juices. Irrespective of the method used to remove the mole, implementing it with care is essential.
