There are many spas out there and when I type spa breaks London into my computer the range of spa appear expensive. Inspired by saving money, I set about doing my own.
So if you have been hit by the recession too and can't buy spa gift vouchers, you will find this piece useful.
For around £10 you can compete with the best spa offers.
Here is my spa day.
10am Make sure you have planned your day
The most important thing is that you are organised, and you plan the day and make it feel like a home away from home. Getting everybody out of the house.
12 midday A steam to start
This little trick is really cool for making your own steam room. The shower in your bathroom can be turned into a steam room. The first step is using towels to block off anywhere you might let steam escape. You then need to put your shower onto its hottest setting and leave it for around 20 minutes. After you have left it, you should come back and hey presto, a steam room.
1pm lunch
I had a healthy homemade burger with no bun and salad.
2pm Bath time
Let all your worries drift away and just soak for as long as you want.
3.30 pm - Time to exercise
Now it is time for exercise to leave you feeling awake and full of energy.
Exercise is another great way to relax, especially if it is gentle. Whaever the weather, there is an exercise for you. You can walk on a sunny day or stay in with a Yoga DVD if it's not great weather outside.
5.30 - It is time to kick back and relax for the evening
You can let the rest of the family back in the house now, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!
